Here is another great “child-friendly” site. Kathleen may also be interested in it. Looks like you are off to a great start. Abbie.

I really liked your project and the genres you selected. You used such variety and were able to incorperate so many facts. The students will gain so much knowledge from you sharing your project. I love how you stuck with the ladybug theme throughout, your pages, the scrapbook you selecteda and even your outfit! Great job!

I loved your project. I felt as though this would be great when teaching about life cycles. I taught life cycles in second grade and they loved it. I think with the great selection of genres chosen by you the students could learn so much about life cycles and interesting facts about the ladybug. This could be an appropriate project for most any elementary grade. That’s what’s so great about multigenre projects. The difficulty level could increase or decrease as needed.

I loved learning about ladybugs from your project! Sounds like you did some great research and learned a lot. In our old house, we had the ladybug infestation in the winter. When I got home, I told my husband all about why that happened
Great job!

I enjoyed your presentation on ladybugs. Your scrapbook looked great. This is a topic I believe the children would enjoy. It’s a great project to show them whether they are doing ladybugs, butterflies, animals, etc. They would get the idea of a scrapbook and the many genres you could use. This will definitely be worth having when you have your students do a multigenre project.
